About Alan
Alan Janoyan is UCR's head roaster. He's been sourcing and roasting specialty coffee for years — and Alan's Pick gives him a direct line to the people who actually drink his coffee. Each month he picks something from the current green stock that he thinks is exceptional and worth sharing.
It's not a curated box service. It's one guy's opinion about what's worth drinking right now.
What You Get
A 12oz bag of whatever Alan is excited about that month. Each bag includes tasting notes and origin information. The origin rotates — you might get Ethiopia one month, Colombia the next, then a rare Tanzania lot you've never heard of.
No repeats in a given year. The variety is the point.
