The Producers
This lot is sourced from 15 smallholder farmers in the Guadalupe area of Huila, Colombia. Each producer grows Caturra and Colombia varietals at 1,600–1,850 meters. The lots are combined after processing, giving the final coffee a consistency that a single farm sometimes can't achieve alone.
Huila is known for clean, fruit-forward coffees with strong acidity — this lot is a textbook example.
How to Brew It
A clean washed coffee that works in almost any brew method. Pour-over (V60, Chemex) will highlight the citrus and fruit notes. Drip works well too — you lose a little of the brightness but gain body.
Avoid French press if you want to taste the lemon and pear clearly — the immersion extraction muddies the clarity a bit.
Availability
Single origin lots are available while supply lasts. This one tends to move fast — if you're into clean, bright Colombian coffees, don't wait.
