Earl Grey is one of the most recognizable tea blends in the world — black tea scented with oil of bergamot, a citrus fruit grown primarily in southern Italy. UCR's version takes it further with vanilla and crème notes that round out the citrus without dulling it.
The Sri Lanka (Ceylon) base gives the tea a brisk, bright character that holds up to milk and sweetener without getting muddy.
How to Brew It
Steep 1 tsp per 8oz at 200°F for 3–4 minutes. Good hot, good iced. Works beautifully with a splash of oat milk — the crème and vanilla notes come forward. Don't over-steep or the bergamot can get bitter.
